On the last lap Eklund drives into T urn Three on the t op with Pea rson holding the lo w groove. Rick De lacy won an in -line restarted 250 Expert Mai n by beat ing o u t Mike Fa ria a nd Du ane Yarrow on the restart. Yarrow had been lead ing Delacy and Faria when Mike 's b rother Dave crashe d hard tappi ng t he o uts ide fe nce. An in -line rest art was call ed for, t he firs t in over a y e ar . Dave Faria was prono unced OK, got up to watch the rest of the race and cheered brothe r Mike from t he infield, Danney Hogue, the 17 year-o ld track star, came from a seven th p lace restart to beat out Mike Kunsman.
