On the 16 t h , Morrill got bac k from an eighth spot to lead the rest of that eve nt. Likewise for th e Cole Husky fini shing a lap down, jus t in fran t of th e Vickery brothers Bob & Jim. Mike Gonzales and th e so lo ridden Yamaha finished fo ur t h despite a lengthy gas stop one lap back of thi rd but a full lap in front of the Sievwright/Nickerson Honda. Larry Frey led out the 125 class closel y foll owed by Billy Risner (Hus) and the Hall o ck br others ( Ha n) . On the fifth lap , Jeff Hall ock took the lead and held it through th e 21st when Wayne Morrill's little br other Wes to o k ove r o n th e Ch arlie Shapir o fo ur stroke Honda. At th e half way po in t th e di ce got tough with Risner in fourth .
