While we are not able to take such action in every lawsuit in the United States reganling motorcycles, we felt that the general nature and possible widespread effect of the Richmood Ramblers case made it necessary for the AMA to come to their aid and file ~ "friend of the court" brief. We 0Dly wish that motorcyclists not supporting the AMA would realize that this will Dot be: the last attack on their sport and that without the support of a Iarga percentage of motorcycle enthusiasts. our hands may be: tied.
