Charging into the lead at the flag, Jim Rice led
the eleven other riders in the Peoria TT into the first
turn and kept gaining for the rest of the race. His BSA
team-mate Dave Aldana finished second, giving BSA
a one-two finish.
With 6 championship wins in a year, it looks like
Jim Rice may become one of the greats of racing.
BSA riders now hold three of the four top positions
