Yamaha doesn't! In fact, we took the first 13 places in the Talladega national light,weight race in our usual 250cc Yamaha fashion.
Yamaha winner, Don Emde, turned in the first 100mph average in an American national
250cc road race and proves...it's a,better machine,!
Yam~ha also demonstrated its consistency by placing 6 350cc machines in the first
nine places of the amateur race...competing against machines of up to 150cc. And
fastest qualifier in the entire amateur field was Randy Ellis at 150.211...the only
150mph qualifying time ever turned ,in by an amateur rider.
