Budde had to borrow a helmet as his was missing from his truck as was some other stuff from other trucks . Those who know, beware! Dan Hughes and Phil Ray fllled out th e top three. Mike SarandrIa won the 650 Novice Main by a giant margin over some fast tropps. Duane . Spence led In the 500 Expert but gave it up soon after to Dan Davies, who soon after gave it back and Spence won it. Russ Powell took the second after " some course cutting by Jim Saitone and others. Davies got the third place trophy but Saitone got the credit.
