U) The Viewfinders tried out the Europsn ~ mass start for just a regular Sunday 'M' Z scrambles and threw a total of U races. ~ TIddlers went 10 laps and bigger bores ..::I 15 and what bad been the biggest fear ~ crashes In the first turn - didn't happen CJ but once and that was In the 500-0pen Expert class! All us Novices got away clean! The cbap who did unload In that class sho uld apply fo r a Screen Actors Guild card for his performance of "Ob my leg" until the ambulance moved out, the race was stopped and be sprinted for his scooter to line up f or a second try. You must forgive the results for this race; bave you ever LOOKED at wbat a mass start I S- lap score sheet looks like? But the Viewfinders weren't about to let us go borne without some results and things got pretty hllarlous around the big table In the club bouse trying to figure something out. The 250 Novice class almost got listed as" Denver says belpl" or "Two mucb dust, couldn't see 'eml" But when the club gets down to working them out In comfortable surroundings everyone will end up In their proper position, so don't anyone fret. U) AIl At Once Anyway, running everyone together was a success and something tbatsome of the other clubs might look Into now It bas been proven that tt can work. The last race was over at four o'clock.
