HAABY HAULS AT ASCOT Dan Haaby and ammy Tanner teamed up to gi ve Mel Lacher the old One-Two last week and stop the H-D rider's win treakin both the Trophy Dash and the final. Tanner defeated Haaby for the second straight week in the heat race before trying on Lacher in the Trophy Dash. Mel was looking to become the only rider on the half-mile this year to win five in a row but it was not to be, as it was a Tanner-run with Sammy flying to his first Dash win since Sept. 15th. Tllen Tanner pused the ball to Haaby tor the start of the MaIn EYllnl. Haaby was back In his usual torm after betnc out of the troot sPOt the last two outtncs.
