Terry states, he's been riding Ascot some, not being too spectacular, but feeling it out. He got a fourth as his best dde there. Hatcher got the hole shot on the guys, flew up and over the hill with T. Danaher dgbt on his dght shoulder. Alas, Terry lost it and didn't appear until he was seen rolling down through the infield. This turn of events left har~riding D. Lenar to chase Hatchet all through the rest of this mota as T. Erickson held on to third well. In the second mota J. Kopp did the job, followed by T. Warren.. The Main was quite a different story in tba.t T. Danaher didthegale job, and halfway through the first lap, C. Hatcher came off in the infield, jumped back on after the whole field passed. made it half way through the field, dropped it. again... got back on, and rode like the wind-.All this time the rest of the field were. putting on quite a good show with Lenar trying very hard for rllSt behind Danaher and finally sliwing by for the win with J. Kopp getting third. 351 arlee Ba8~ Elsinore doesn't always get enough riders to malte a class, but when it happens the Honda riders (almost to a man) put on a good showr Mota number I was won by A. Hindelang. followed by D. Fletcher and L. Thompson. The Main was won by L. Mooney on a Honda. Mooney has been coming out to Elsinore for only a short time now. having never ridden any other track. Mooney's bike is a 305 and as the track doesn't usually get enough 3.Q5's to make the class. Looks like all that trying is paying off for him. WHETHER YOU'RE SELLING OR RIDING ... Edwards on a lOO.cc Hodaka held his lead over bikes powered by engines over: 6. times the size Edwards received cheers as he took his trophy from T.H. PaschaL Edwards stayed ahead of J_ Fo.x.e on a Triumph and C. cargo on his BSA.
