now been issued, and Number 1 Bill Bike
is Mike Pa tric k. Second is Bobby Fe rro,
bested only by the close margin of 11
points. Larry Bergquist takes No. 3 followau
ed by hard-ridin g Bob Mcl. zhl in in th e
four th spo t. Con gratulations, lads.
Bob Mac's performance was particularly
interesting. He began the year as a lillht·
weight (Greeves ) with a number 3X plate.
He then switched to a Trium ph 500 ca rrying an un earned num ber 329. Two months
later he mou nt ed the big 650 T riumph and
rod e it for th e rest of the year, ma rking up
