VOLUME 57 ISSUE 5 FEBRUARY 4, 2020 P65 cally, tonight I was kind of tired. It was difficult, but I'm glad I got this win. I get to put the red plate back on my bike, and that's awe- some. I'm stoked on the night." Forkner hung on for second in front of round-one winner Justin Cooper and Martin. Ferrandis now leads the points standings by two over are not so bad. The good start helped for sure, and then we had a good battle with Austin. I didn't really feel that great tonight; I was a little bit tired, and the track was really demanding. When I saw the opportunity to pass, I took it. It was a cool race. Last year, to be faster than [Dylan] Ferrandis, I felt like a madman out there in the 250 class. I was on the ragged edge. Now, it doesn't feel that way. It feels super-smooth. But also, I've always been good at getting new tracks dialed really fast, so I think that's one thing that helps me. Ultimately, main, practice, every time I'm out there, I'm just doing my best, no matter what time of day it is. Even if I'm fastest, I'm just trying to be the best I can." Briefly...
