INTERVIEW

NHRA PRO STOCK WORLD CHAMPION EDDIE KRAWIEC
you shouldn't be able to win a
championship if you don't win a
race. I thought, 'Wow, if this guy
from F1 thinks that way, what do
other people think?' In my mind, I
was a champion but I'm not sure
everyone else thought so.
This year, I don't think anyone
could say I didn't earn it. Obviously, four wins and six final

ever run before and it held up all
season. That was just a crush-

winning a race?' It's not that it

in the back of my mind. When
you win a championship, you
want to do it in style. You don't
want people to say it was a fluke.
I guess what really got to me was
when I was watching Wind Tunnel on Speed Channel and the
subject came up and one of the
head guys at Formula 1 said that
