I thought, 'Wow, if this guy from F1 thinks that way, what do other people think?' In my mind, I was a champion but I'm not sure everyone else thought so. This year, I don't think anyone could say I didn't earn it. Obviously, four wins and six final rounds validate it. It's also important for me not to be a one-time champion. When you win two, people aren't as likely to think the first one was a fluke either. Now that I've got two of them, I'm in a very good place. You came out at the first race and set the record at 199.26 mph and won the race. At that point did you feel like the favorite to win the championship? That [199.26 run] is the highlight of my year.
