At Muddy Creek Raceway, in Blountville, Ten-
nessee, Tomac went 1-3 to take the overall. He's
now lost two motos total this season, but he's won
every overall, and he leads the points by 32 with
seven rounds still left to run.
But it's the 250MX class that's getting crazy.
Aaron Plessinger continues to lead the champion-
ship, but for the past two rounds, the Yamalube/
Star Racing Yamaha rider has held the points lead
more due to bad luck from his competition than
due to his own performances. One race ago at
High Point, it was likely that Plessinger would've

li Tomac is in control right now. When he's
out front, he usually checks out on the field,
and when he's behind, he doesn't panic,
but rather bides his time and makes the moves
when they present themselves. It's a testament
to his speed, for sure, since you have to have
amazing speed to be able to calmly follow the
fastest racers in the world around while they're
going their absolute fastest, but more than that
it's a testament to his maturity. He's not a rookie
anymore. He's the defending outdoor champ, and
he's making sure everyone's aware of it.
