UP AND ABOUT
Brandon Price appears to be doing
okay after his crash in Singles TT
qualifying. He was hauled off to the
hospital with a head injury. "Hey every-
one," his family wrote on his Face-
book page, "Brandon is up, alert and
joking as usual. If anyone would like to
come by to see him you're more than
welcome. We are at Memorial Medi-
cal Center, Room G418, in Spring-
field. We truly thank everyone for the
prayers and continued support!"
STILL ON TOP
Jared Mees continues to sit on top of
the AFT Twins point standings with 145
points to second place Henry Wiles
with 101, and Kenny Coolbeth is third
with 90. Jeffrey Carver's win moves
him into fourth just two behind Cool-
beth. Dan Bromley's win moves him
into first in the AFT Singles points race
over Brandon Price, 126-108. Jesse
Janisch is third with 90.
SPECTATORS FOR
THE NIGHT
Fourth-in-points, Shayna Texter (JCS
Racing Husqvarna) had a tough time in
the Singles TT class. She was unable
to make it out of qualifying to earn a
spot in one of the three heat races.
She wasn't alone, however. Race win-
ners Kevin Stollings, Morgen Mischler
and Ryan Wells also failed to qualify
for the main event and joined Texter
on the sidelines.
