thony Mazziotto III separated by
just one second at the flag.
"I want to go faster than we did
last year at all the tracks. I want a
superbike ride bad," said Beach
of his one-man race. "I'm mad at
myself that I messed up last year
and didn't get that ride that my
teammate (Garrett Gerloff) got.
But that's the past, and I'm just
working towards the future."
The title chase sees Beach
atop the standings on 95 points
from Gillim (65), West with 53,
Ortt fourth on 42 and McFadden
fifth with 39.
Yamaha rider Richie Escalante
the best of the rest in third from
veteran Cory West (M4 Ecstar
Suzuki) who is still filling in for the
injured Valentin Debise in fourth,
and Braeden Ortt (Tuned Racing
Yamaha) in fifth.
Race two was even better

cleared off to 28 seconds—yes,

out midrace.
At least the battle for the minor
places was intense, with eventual
second-placed Ortt, third-placed
West, M4 medAge Suzuki's
Nick McFadden, Escalante and
Alex Dumas (23) won
both races despite
losing 1000 rpm in
performance under the
parity rulings.
