All day inside Gillette Stadium
in Foxborough, Massachusetts,
Jeremy Martin (Geico Honda)
was the cream of the crop. He
was fastest by a good margin. He
even won his heat race, which
is rare for the two-time outdoor
champ. But when the main event
came around, Martin didn't get
the start, then went down on the
second straightaway of the race.
He had another incident a few
laps later.
He was still the fastest guy on
the track, but not fast enough to
catch points leader Zach Os-
borne, who grabbed the holeshot
and checked out to win his third
250SX main event of the year.
Osborne led every lap over
Jordon Smith (TLD/Red Bull
KTM), who hung around in
second for all 17 laps around the
rapidly deteriorating surface in
the rare daytime supercross race.
