BOLIN BESTS SHASTA DAM
GRAND PRIX

espite a horrible start that
saw him far behind the pack
in the first turn, Gray Area KTM's
Devan Bolin bounced back, turn-
ing the quickest laps of the race,
which allowed him to seize the
lead late in the race and win the
Shasta Dam Grand Prix, hosted
by the Redding Dirt Riders at
the Chappie Shasta Off-Highway
Vehicle Area, April 14-15.
It marked his first win in the
Kenda/SRT AMA West Hare
Scrambles Regional Champion-
ship Series, the Shasta Dam GP
serving as round five. Beta's Max
Gerston and SRT Husqvarna's
Trystan Hart kept it close with
Gerston, the defending series
champ, 23 seconds behind
Bolin after leading most of the
way and points leader Hart 13
seconds behind Gerston.

lap and second on the second
