Debbie Evans-Leavitt parlayed her fame and skills on a trials bike into a lucrative, award- winning career as a Hollywood stuntwoman, appearing in over 600 movies. Legendary an- nouncer Bruce Flanders has been the voice of nearly every major speedway, dirt and moto- cross track in California. He has also been the chief announcer at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach for over 40 years. Dennis Kanegae was an accomplished and capable SoCal flat track racer with endless stories to prove it, but he made his mark you have a man who has reached the pinnacle of success. Miller evolved from an excellent des- ert racer into one of the all-time great ones, winning the Baja 500, Baja 1000 and Mint 400 each two times, as well as win- ning several ISDT medals. After racing, he went to work at Honda as a factory ATV mechanic and has been there ever since. His rise up the ladder included a lengthy stint as manager of their entire racing program and his current role as senior manager of national sales means that the buck stops with him, a Trailblazer Hall of Famer. Tom White's wife, Dani, their daughter, Kristen and son, Mi- chael, came on stage at the end of the night to accept the Dick Hammer Award on behalf of Tom. The Trailblazers highest award and perpetual trophy is given each year to someone who has demonstrated exceptional levels of "Drive, Determination and De- sire" throughout their life.
