450SX
In the first main event of the
Triple Crown format, Christian
Craig (filling in at Honda HRC,
from the Geico Honda 250SX
team) grabbed the holeshot.
He led the main for a while,
but once he was caught by
the freight train of Justin Bray-
ton (Motoconcepts/SmarTop
Honda), Anderson, Blake
Baggett (Rocky Mountain ATV-
MC KTM), Eli Tomac (Monster
Energy Kawasaki) and Marvin
Musquin, they all went by him in
a matter of four corners.
Brayton held them all off at
the finish to win the opening
main event of the night over An-
derson, who fought off Baggett
the entire main event. Behind
Baggett came Musquin, then
Tomac a distance behind after
losing contact in the late stages
of the race. Craig was sixth and
Chad Reed (Husqvarna) was
seventh.
In the second main, Ander-
son grabbed the holeshot after
Baggett drifted too wide in the
first turn. Cooper Webb (Mon-
ster Energy Yamaha) took over
second in front of Tomac, and
then came Baggett and Bray-
ton. Anderson held on to win
the main, just holding off Webb
(who went down with Weston
Peick and Broc Tickle in the first
main event). Tomac was third
over Baggett, Musquin, Brayton
and Craig.
