fending champion and last year's
Vegas winner Gary Sutherlin.
Italian racer Giacomo Redondi
and Dante Oliveira completed
the top five.
In Pro 2, Cooper Abbott took
the victory, while Canadian racer
Spencer Wilton won Pro 2 Lites.
The circuit was redesigned
from last year's event and fea-
tured some additional sections
that allowed for more passing
opportunities. The track was
comprised of pavement sec-
tions with a lot of switchback
turns. Plus, there were several
tire sections, as well as logs,
and inside the arena there were
several double and triple jumps.
Combined, the track made for a
great mixture of terrain typical of
WORCS competition.
"This is a cool event," Robert
said. "The WORCS series is
doing a good job mixing up the
tracks. It shows that you have to
be a well-rounded rider, not just
good at one discipline."
