ing colors of green and yellow in
Arizona in honor of Australia Day,
which was the Friday before the
race.
FEET ARE WET
Two former 250SX champs—Jake
Weimer and Justin Bogle—returned
to the 450SX fray in Arizona for
the first time in 2018. Weimer and
Bogle have both spent a signifi-
cant amount of time off the motor-
cycle during the off-season due
to injuries, and in Arizona, both
understandably seemed as if they
had some cobwebs to shake off
on their way to 17th (Bogle) and
18th (Weimer) in the main event.
"It's tough!" Weimer said. "I knew
it would be tough! You can't really
expect yourself to jump in there and
just instantly be where you want to
be, or where you think you should
be, when everybody's been training
