scored his second victory of the
season and padded his points
lead. However, he is leaving
the series to prepare for the
outdoor nationals. West Coast
racer Jared Lesher was second
on a Honda, followed by Jeremy
Hand, also on a Honda.
"This is my second win in
three rounds," said Marchbanks.
"It means a lot to me to win this
round. This is my last race in
Amsoil Arenacross, and it's a big
deal to win in Lites."
Lesher scored his best finish
of the season. He said the race
was literally one of survival. "I just
ran 15 consistent laps and kept it
on two wheels," said Lesher.
With Marchbanks' retirement,
Isaac Teasdale and Heath Har-
rison become the top contend-
ers for the points lead in the
Lites class at the next East Coast
round.
