Faith scored second-place
finishes in both motos after fin-
ishing third in both qualifying and
his heat. After winning the first
two races, he leaves the event
in the points lead, but it sets the
stage for a points battle between
teammates.
"I'm kind of bummed to finish
second overall, but we're leaving
here safe and we still have the
red plate, so all in all it's a good
day," said Faith. "I'm really happy
with how the season started and
I'm looking forward to the next
two rounds."
Blose qualified second on
his Honda and won his heat.
He also won the Head-to-Head
Challenge, scoring an additional
championship point. Though he
finished on the podium by tak-
ing third in both races, Blose is
hungry for a win.
"Being on the box is great
and all, but two third places in a
row… I'm getting sick and tired
of it," said Blose. "I'm not a quit-
ter. I'm a fighter so we'll fight and
we'll figure things out."
