SIDELINED
TLD/Red Bull KTM's Alex Martin
dropped out of the 250SX main
event at round one in Anaheim
after a hard crash, then sat out the
Houston round. It turns out that he
suffered a small fracture to his right
clavicle at Anaheim 1. It is not yet
known when he'll be able to return.
HIGHS TO LOWS
It was a disappointing night for last
week's winner Marvin Musquin who
crashed in his heat race and was
forced to retire early with a reported
dislocated shoulder. "After qualify-
ing third today, I went down hard
in the whoops in my heat race,"
Musquin said. "I landed on my left
shoulder and felt really beat up.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to line
up for the rest of night. I'm really
disappointed about that given the
team and I were in a good place
after our win last weekend. But I
will get checked up as soon as I
get home and will know more in
the next few days. Supercross is a
longer season so I'm hopeful I will
