Reddish said the first race
was a success, giving the series
a perfect foundation on which
to build. Though a promoter at
heart, Reddish is also a racer
and he was happy to see the
smiles and happy buzz among
the competitors.
"The facility is awesome and
the smiles on everyone's faces
at the end of the day were just
great," said Reddish. "I want
to show this to the masses and
they will come. Everyone left
here safe and happy and that's
what it's all about. We're looking
forward to a growing year, having
fun and making sure everyone is
smiling. If we do that, it's been a
success."
The WORCS Sprint Hero
Series next heads to Iron Mine
"You can't beat sprints; it's
the best kind of testing we can
do," said Coy, who will compete
in the West Hare Scrambles,
Qualifier Series and Enduro-
Cross this season. "I just tried to
stay consistent all weekend. I'm
super excited to be on a Gas-
Gas this year. I've always been
a four-stoke guy, but this 300
two-stroke has plenty of power
and torque and I'm super excited
about this year."
The rumble of the four-stroke
bikes and the braap of the two-
strokes were punctuated by the
sound of silence as Ty Tremaine
ran his first race on Alta's Red-
shift EX electric motorcycle.
Tremaine posted respectable
times Saturday but did not finish
out the race Sunday.
Racepark in Cedar City, Utah,
where trees, terrain and possible
snow will further challenge com-
petitors. That two-race weekend
is scheduled for March 10-11.
The finale is scheduled for April
14-15 at Canyon MX in Peoria,
Arizona. CN
