VOL. 54 ISSUE 48 DECEMBER 5, 2017 P31
>>Z900RS
One of the biggest hits at
the 2017 EICMA Show in Mi-
lan came in the form of the
retro Kawasaki Z900RS and
Z900RS Café and it was
no different in New York.
The 900RS will be available
in the next couple of months
but sadly Kawasaki was
unable to confirm when the
beautiful 900RS Café will
come to our shores.
The 900RS uses the
Z900 naked bike as its base
but takes styling right back
to the Z1 900 of 1972 with
the brown and orange paint
scheme, as well as a raised
one-piece handlebar, dif-
ferent wheels, a long single
piece seat and the classic
ducktail back end.
The 900RS will have its
base price set at $10,999
MSRP and you can click
here for the full rundown
on the new machine.
>>NINJA H2 SX AND SE
Without a doubt the most antici-
pated new machine at New York
was the new H2 SX and SE—the
world's first supercharged sport
touring motorcycles.
The SX and SE use the H2 hy-
perbike of 2015 as their base but
have been extensively reworked
in engine and chassis with a new
supercharger, much higher com-
pression and a beefier subframe
to accommodate a passenger
and bags.
The SE is the higher spec of
the two sport touring weapons
and comes with Kawasaki's new
cornering lights, a different dash
and new green paint that's much
more in-your-face than the basic
black you'll get with a standard
SX.
The Ninja H2 SX will have a
sticker price of $19,000 with
the SE gaining a $3000 MSRP
premium at $22,000. Click here

Free Fork and Balance Free
Rear Cushion shock. The SE
also gets the RR's Marchesini
forged aluminum wheels and
an updated quickshift system
that allows for clutchless up
and down gear shifts. This is
now the premium sport bike
in the Kawasaki range and will
sell for $21,899 MSRP. Click

new superbike.
