Hayes and wife Melissa Paris celebrated the
arrival of their son, Euclid Hawk Hayes, Novem-
ber 28, near Oceanside, California.
"This little dude crawled into our backyard
yesterday. @JoshHayes4 fed him and now he
won't leave," joked new mom Melissa on her

SIMON CRAFAR JOINS MOTOGP
COMMENTARY TEAM
T
he last New Zealander to win a premier class
Grand Prix—Simon Crafar—will join the MotoGP
commentary team for the Dorna Live Feed.
Crafar, a 10-time WorldSBK podium finisher and
winner of the 1998 British 500cc Grand Prix for
Red Bull Yamaha in what was his only victory in a
short season and a half in GP racing, will replace
Dylan Gray as the pit lane and technical reporter
for the Dorna live feed alongside head commenta-
tors Steve Day and Matthew Birt.
"I was surprised, honored and excited to get the
opportunity," said Crafar. "I began my career as a
racer, I will always be a rider and I love the sport.
I've always believed that your only chance you
have at being good at something is if
you love it and you want to do it and
you make yourself better. And this is
an opportunity, like I always tell my
kids, that you have to grab with both
hands and make the most of."
Crafar has long been a resident
of Andorra, following his retirement
from international racing in the early
2000s and has created his own
online rider coaching clinics with his
brand Motovudu. CN
