KTM REVEALS 2018 450 SX- F
FACTORY EDITION

TM took the cover off its
latest production moto-
crosser—the 2018 450 SX-F
Factory Edition. KTM used its
new supercross test facility near
its U.S. corporate office in Mur-
rieta, California to reveal to the
world the new 450 Factory Edi-
tion, which sees many changes.
The engine is pretty much all
new; it's smaller, more compact
and even lighter than before.
The cylinder head has been
redesigned and is 15mm lower,
which puts the camshaft closer
to the center of gravity. The all-
new exhaust system is shorter
and more compact. Much em-
phasis has been put into improv-
ing CG and saving weight.
It also gets new bodywork,
updated suspension settings
and new triple clamps. Some
finishing touches include a Hin-
son factory clutch cover, com-
posite skid plate, D.I.D Dirt Star
rims and orange rear sprocket
and triple clamps.
Red Bull Factory riders Marvin
Musquin and Broc Tickle will
compete on the Factory Edition
models in 2018. MSRP has not
