was the big winner at the
Stuttgart Supercross in Stutt-
gart, Germany, November 10-11.
He captured the win in both
main events that took place
Friday and Saturday evenings.
Friday night, Soubeyras
took the checkered flag 2.9
seconds ahead of Thomas
Ramette, and filling out the
podium was American Tyler
Bowers, who won the Dutch
Supercross the week before.
AMA Arenacross star Jace
Owen was sixth in Germany.
It was even closer Saturday
night with Soubeyras taking
the win by just 0.9 of a second
ahead of Fabien Izoird, with Cole
Martinez taking third. American
Kyle Cunningham was fourth,
with Bowers taking eighth.
Canadian Matt Georke went
to Germany to compete but
reportedly suffered a broken
hand in a crash. CN

Stewart was the top-fin-
ishing rider at the 49th run-
ning of the Elsinore Grand
Prix in Lake Elsinore, Cali-
fornia, November 11-12.
Stewart took control of
the 100-mile race, which
included the streets of El-
sinore, with 40 minutes re-
maining and never looked
back to take the premier-
class win, also known
as the Harvey Mushman
race. CN
