PALMER GETS IT DONE
"W
ild" Wally Palmer cap-
tured the overall win at
the final round of the AMA East
Hare Scrambles Championship
in Axton, Virginia, November
11-12. Palmer led Ryder Lafferty
by just six points going in, but
Lafferty was a no-show for the
event, making it a stress-free
day for Palmer.
Palmer, on the SRT KTM,
worked his way into the lead
by the third lap and that was
it. Palmer rode off with the win
ahead of Yamaha rider Brandon
Nero.
The 2016 EHS Champion,
Kyle McDonal squeaked into
third after making a late-race
pass on local favorite Mario
Testa.
Mike Beeler Jr. turned a lot of
heads by finishing sixth overall
as a B200-class rider.
In Saturday's youth races,
Kyle Grenewicz was the big win-
ner after topping the 7-11 85cc
class.
Ryan Gribbin successfully
defended his number-one plate
in the Junior 65cc class.
In the 50cc class, Johnny
Probst took his Fun Factory Co-
bra to the overall victory, while
second place went to Amber
Grenowicz, which was good
enough to give Grenowicz the
number-one plate for the in the
4-6 50cc division.
