"What I was focusing on was to go slow right in the middle of the corner and walk the thing off hard every lap," said Mees. "The last thing I needed to do was to go in there too hot and especially on these little slippery half miles like this. You've got to get off the line good and just run your own race," said Mees. "The most nerve wracking thing was see- ing those red flags. I was going around and saw the 'five to go' and just knew in the back of my head that there was going to be a red flag. I knew that it couldn't be that easy and that they wouldn't give it to me that easy. Then there was another red (Above) Jake Johnson was happy to finish out the day in fourth.
