Earlier in the race, about the first
eight laps, the track was actually
pretty good. Not that you could
move around a whole lot, but
you didn't have to ride so timid.
As the red flags went on and
the track got dry, we were riding
the same line and it got more
tedious. I knew that if I got the
thing off the corners solid every
lap, they were not going to go by
me. There wasn't any room."
