OFF ROAD 92ND FIM INTERNATIONAL SIX DAYS ENDURO AUGUST 22-SEPTEMBER 2, 2017 BRIVE-LA-GAILLARDE, FRANCE P74 teams rose to the top. Among the American teams, the SRT Off-road trio held the most promise. Comprised of veteran Ben Kelley along with first-timers Ty Tremaine and Cody Webb, the team—nicknamed "Team Too Tall" since all three are over six feet tall—lived up to its promise. Starting out in fourth behind teams from France, Italy and Wales, the group plugged along to finish third by week's end, with all three contributing competitive scores and Kelley the top scorer among them, easily earning a gold medal for second in C1 and fifth Club rider overall. EnduroCross riders Tremaine and Webb weren't far behind. Tremaine claimed a gold medal for fourth in C2 and ninth Club rider overall while Webb also finished fourth (but in C3) thus earning gold while placing 16th overall Club rider. The Missouri Mudders—Devan Bolin, Brendan Riordan and Alex Witkowski—finished the week 14th with Riordan the fastest. He finished on gold, seventh in C1. Bolin competed in C3 where he had a couple hiccups but perse- vered to get gold for his 11th in class while Wit- kowski ended up 27th to take home a silver medal. Eric Cleveland Memorial (Anthonee Gibbs, Justin Morgan and Jacob Rowland) was 17th with Morgan leading the group, 18th in C2 and a gold medal. After Rick Emerson and Steve Mason both DNFed then re-impounded on the second day, the Elisabeth Scott Community all-Senior team's vet- eran Brian Storrie was the only one to finish intact. He ended the week by winning his final C1 moto as well, putting him on gold for 32nd in class. The team ended up 95th. The Appalachian Dirt Riders (Van McCarren, Nick O'Bryant and Mike Pillar) were handicapped when O'Bryant's brand-new last-minute replace- ment bike quit on day two, but the others kept going for a 119th-place team finish.
