"Well, I got a decent start and
it wasn't raining at first," Musquin
said. "I just tried to get into the
lead. I could see Blake Baggett
up there, so I got around him,
which is good for the champion-
ship. That's the goal. I was lead-
ing and then it started raining
slowly and started to get really
Musquin wasted little time in

Baggett and the RCH Suzuki
pair of Matt Bisceglia and Justin
Bogle, to take the lead. Not long
afterward, the rain really started
coming down.

When the 450MX class hit the
track, the rain was just about
to hit its stride, and when the
rain comes this time of year in
upstate New York, it can be
something to behold. The rain
started during the first 250MX
moto, but every hauler in the
pits has internet, and every team
knew there was rain on its way.
Rain and mud made things interesting in the second 450MX moto,
but Musquin again took the moto win for the sixth straight time.
