In the 250MX class, Plessinger
grabbed the holeshot in both
motos on the way to his first
overall win of the year.
When the gate dropped for
moto one, Plessinger got out
front right away over Adam
Cianciarulo, Kyle Cunningham,
Austin Forkner, and RJ Hamp-
shire, while Joey Savatgy ended
up on the ground with Jeremy
Martin and Plessinger's team-
mate Dylan Ferrandis.
About halfway through lap
one, Forkner had a massive
save in third place, coming up
short on a sharp jump edge but
somehow saved it to keep third.
Plessinger pulled away to win
the opening moto over Cian-
ciarulo (Monster Energy/Pro
Circuit/Kawasaki) comfortably,
while his teammate, Forkner,
had his hands full in the final
laps with TLD/Red Bull KTM's
Alex Martin, but he held off
A-Mart for third.
"My starts are killer right
now!" Plessinger said following
his first moto win of the year.
