TWO-STROKES TAKE ON GLEN HELEN T wo-stroke motocrossers swarmed the hills of Glen Helen Raceway for the eighth an- nual MTA Two-Stroke Motocross World Championships, April 15, where two-stroke machines of all sizes and eras lined up for a shot at glory, and for the pros, a shot at the $8000 L.A. Sleeve Pro Purse. A full gate of 40 riders filled the gate for the Pro races, and though at first it looked to be Zach Bell's day after the Ox Motorsports Hon- da rider dominated the first moto, a handful of crashes in the sec- ond moto handed the win and the overall to Ryan Surratt. Bell's sixth- IN THE WIND P28 Travis Bell (17), Michael Sleeter (111) and Surratt mix it up in the Pro race. Ryan Surratt was one of the big winners at the MTA Two-Stroke Motocross World Championship at Glen Helen. Surratt topped the L.A. Sleeve Pro division with 4-1 moto scores. PHOTOGRAPHY BY RON LAWSON
