Dungey's lap times dropped
off significantly after losing the
runner-up spot to Musquin, but
he hung on for third in front of
Anderson, and Seely recovered
for fifth.
"I've got a little work to do,
and it's okay," Dungey said.
"This happens. We'll get the ball
rolling. We're in a great posi-
tion. Points, and all set aside, I
something easy to get down
on," Tomac said. "We kept
looking forward. I didn't change
anything during the week. Just
came in here with a level head,
went out and got it done in
practice and in that main event
also. That was a really tough
track. I would say the toughest
one of the year. Even though
it was probably the shortest,
it was hard just because more
Dungey and Tomac, they were
far ahead of me, but I kept push-
ing, and the lappers, too. I really
wanted to pass Ryan and I tried
really hard. I'm so happy with my
performance today. I know it's
not a win, but it's a great second
place. I'm really happy."
In the end, Tomac took the
win with room to spare over
Musquin.
