Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawa-
saki's Justin Hill made no qualms
about the fact that he was flat-out
pooped after his second-place fin-
ish in San Diego one week ago. Hill
didn't have a lot of time to prepare
for the 250SX West series coming
off of injury, but he was determined
to do the best he could with the time
he had. Coming so close to the win
in San Diego just served as motiva-
tion for Anaheim II.
"When you come that close to a
race win, and you work that hard for
it, it's fun battling with these guys,
but when I came into this week, I
just wanted to put a lot of work in
and not let that happen again," Hill
said of finishing a close second a
week earlier in San Diego. "It was
