lead, though, Roczen could
never get much breathing room,
as Dungey followed Roczen's
lines and technique through the
track's tricky whoops—which was
a key spot where Roczen was
able to make up time on Dungey
before he got into the lead.
"I noticed in practice he [Roc-

Musquin would spend the
rest of the race pretty much by
himself on his way to his second
podium finish in a row.
Out front, Roczen went to
school on Dungey's lines, bided
his time, and then aggressively
snuck up the inside of Dungey
in a 180-degree turn on lap eight
and it was not the rhythm that
we used to do all the time. But I
tried the jump on the next table.
I don't know what happened. I
thought I was going to crash. Up
in the air all I could see was the
sky. I thought I was going to die
and then everybody was coming
from behind. I don't know how I
didn't crash. I went off the track
and rode on the big puddle.
Dungey gave Roczen a race this time.
