working his way through the
pack, but he went down hard
again on lap seven when he
tangled with Ty Tremaine, both
tumbling down the back side of
the hill exiting the elevated rock
as Haaker worked his way back
to second but struggled with the
firewood pit nearly every lap,
which allowed Redmond to open
up a gap again. Haaker, how-

a small lead. But his problems in
get up and got going nearly half
a lap behind his title rival.

win, but then got stuck in the
firewood pit at the start of the
second lap and lost a couple of
positions. Redmond took over
the lead and held it for five laps,
(Above) Cody Webb kept his title hopes
alive by coming back for second place
after a couple of hard get-offs.
(Left) This was one of Webb's two big
crashes in the main. Somehow, he got
up and still managed to pressure winner
Haaker at the end.
