IN THE WIND P30 POLICE CHIEF CHARLIE BECK INJURED L os Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck was injured in an off-road accident over the weekend while riding in the mountains near Tehachapi, California. Beck, 63, report- edly suffered a fractured pelvis, but was able to ride himself back to his truck and drive home before heading to a local hospital. He may undergo surgery in the coming week, but the department said they expect him to make a full recovery and return to work as early as next week. "I want to thank everyone for their well-wishes as I recu- perate from my recent motorcycle mishap," Beck said in a statement. "As always, I am in constant contact with my LAPD command staff and will be working diligently while I recuperate to continue leading the men and women of the LAPD." CN L.A. Police Chief suffered a broken pelvis while trail riding near Tehachapi, California. SHERCO LIMITED EDITION SIX DAYS S herco has revealed its Enduro Six Days 2017 range of two-stroke and four-stroke off-road motorcycle. These bikes are based off the company's Racing editions and feature mostly cosmetic differences, though the 250 and 300 two-stroke and four-stroke models (not the 450 four-stroke) have revamped mufflers. CN Sherco's Limited Edition Six Days models feature mostly cosmetic changes.
