JASON ANDERSON HEALING UP
J
ason Anderson is well down the road to recovery following last week's Motocross of Nations in Mag-
giora, Italy, where he suffered a broken right foot and a concussion in two separate incidents.
Anderson injured his foot in qualifying and had minor surgery to stabilize the fracture. According to a
release from his Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Team, Anderson suffered a "minor" concussion when he
got landed on off the finish-line jump after winning the second moto.
His injures will prevent him from competing in the October 8 SMX Rider's Cup in Germany. His factory
Husqvarna teammate Max Nagl, who was also banged up at the 'Nations race, will not race either.
Filling Anderson's and Nagl's spots on the Husky team at the SMX Rider's Cup will be Frenchman
Christophe Charlier and American Thomas Covington. They will compete alongside team captain Zach
Osborne.
Anderson will also sit out the following week's Monster Energy Cup in Las Vegas. CN
