"Between my right wrist
locking up and him putting
the pressure on me and
the track going away, he
made up a lot of ground real
quick. When he was catch-
ing me I thought, 'man, I
wish I would have tried the
low line earlier,' because
that is where I thought I
needed to be. I couldn't
look back going into the
corner and see where he
was going. I could see com-
ing out that he was kind of
going low. When I looked
back again, he was high. I
figured until he got close I
would just keep doing what
I was doing. Luckily I was
able to react and go into
three low the last couple
laps and stay with him. I
knew if I was within striking
distance on the last lap that
I could pull the trigger com-
ing to the checkered flag.
Thank God I didn't fall off
the back when I pulled the
trigger."
