Webb was fastest in 250 qualify-
ing by a full second, and then he
showcased his prowess at com-
ing through the pack once again
in moto one, after starting the
moto mid-pack in the 40-rider
field.
Webb's Yamalube/Star Rac-
ing Yamaha teammate Alex Mar-
tin grabbed the holeshot in the
first moto in front of his rookie
teammate Mitchell Harrison,
Monster Energy Kawasaki's Joey
Savatgy, and Alex's brother/
teammate Jeremy Martin.
Savatgy made a clean move
by Harrison for second on the
inside, then he and Alex Martin
checked out.
Behind the lead duo, Jeremy
Martin eventually fought his
way by Harrison for third, with
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna's
Zach Osborne doing likewise
for fourth place. Not long after
that, about five laps into the
moto, another of Alex Martin's
teammates, points leader Webb,
managed to join the fray near
the front, and within three laps
he had found his way by both
Osborne and Jeremy Martin to
take over third, which is where
he finished.
"We want to be up there, but
I got a terrible start, and the
track's pretty hard to pass, so
I was stoked to get up here,
but I just didn't ride as well as
I would've liked to," Webb said
from the podium."
