ERV BRAUN PASSES

rv Braun, known to many as the voice of motocross, passed away Sunday evening, July 10. Braun
suffered a massive stroke on June 6 and had been moved to a full-time rehabilitation therapy center
in New York, where he died.
For the last 30 years, Braun's voice has been synonymous with AMA Supercross, just as it has been
with major amateur motocross races across the country. Not only was Braun famous for his race calling
and analysis, but he was also an accomplished musician and motorcycle rider. Through his Braun En-
tertainment business, he also promoted events like the Amateur Open of Motocross and The Summer
Olympics of Motocross.
In 2012, Braun was honored in Toronto, Canada, during the Legends and Heroes Tour. CN
