to pass Varnes and gain the last
podium position.
GNC2 points leader Ryan
Wells (Parkinson Brothers Rac-
ing/Fat Guys Racing) finished
fifth as Brandon Price (Don's Ka-
wasaki/Myers Motorsports), Ben
Lowe (Bruce Lowe Excavating/
Lowelife Performance), Dylan
Morin (Frank Baker Racing/
Pat & Kevin Nielson) and James
Monaco (GPS Racing/Intents
Racing) all battled over sixth.
Wells has extended his points
lead to 31 over Dalton Gauthier
as Gauthier was credited with
last place when he was unable
over a mostly Kawasaki field.
Ron Ayers Motorsports/Mr.
Sign-backed Tristan Avery was
second for two laps until Varnes
came by on lap three as he had
moved all the way from the penalty
line to the leader's rear wheel.
That was the highlight for
Varnes as Avery gained sec-
ond back and began to stalk
Gerencer. Gerencer and Avery
swapped positions all around the
track, but Gerencer was able to
maintain the lead until lap 10.
Finally, on lap 10, Avery was
able to make a pass stick and
pulled off his second win of the
year. A half-second was the mar-
gin of victory. On the final lap,
Tristan Avery came away with the GNC2 victory.
