Fast Heat winner Ryan Wells
(Parkinson Brothers Racing/Fat
Guys Racing) got the hole shot
in the 12 lap GNC 2 main event.
A slip off the groove in turn two
handed the lead over to Ron
Ayers Motorsports/Mr Sign's
Tristan Avery.
Avery was able to get away
from the battle over second as
Wells recovered to fight with
Gray Hogs/Wimer Cycle's Jef-
fery Lowery. Wells was able to
settle in to second with Lowery a
solid third over Kolby Carlile (KC
Cycle/Team 95).
The night's fast qualifier,
Austin Helmholz (Walrath Truck-
ing/Hovey Racing) barely held
off James Monaco (GPS Rac-
ing/Intents Racing), Ben Lowe
(Low Life Performance), Kevin
Stollings (Ben Evans/Dave's
Cycle) and Kyle McGrane
(McGrane Racing/Scott Powers-
ports) for fifth as they all finished
with in one second of each
other.
Mechanical gremlins dropped
Dalton Gauthier to a 15th-place
finish on his Ron Wood BMW,
but the youngster still maintains
a four-point lead over Ryan Wells
in the point standings. CN
