In the Arenacross Lites East/
West Shootout, Yamaha rider
Ryan Breece, from Athol, Idaho,
came away with the big win,
topping both the East and West
Champions in the main event.
Cody VanBuskirk (KTM) officially
clinched the West title at the end
of the night with his fifth-place
finish. Daniel Herrlein (Honda)
got on the podium in second to
clinch the East championship.
Florida's Josh Cartwright (Ya-
maha) got on the podium in third,
while South Carolina's Kyle Bitter-
man (Husqvarna) grabbed fourth.
"It feels good [to win the
championship]," said VanBus-
kirk. "It was a long season and
I just tried to stay consistent
and put it on the [podium] each
weekend. It was a tough night
but we came away with the title.
The track was tough and I didn't
get off to the best start, but I was
able to work my way into fifth. I
