he seventh annual Ricky
Carmichael Daytona Ama-
teur Supercross (RCSX) ran
its course at historic Daytona
International Speedway in
Daytona Beach Florida, March
6-7. The two-day supercross-
style event has seen an
increase in rider participation
throughout its seven-year ex-
istence and now kicks off the
Amateur Spring Nationals. To
make the pot even sweeter, all
seven major factory OEMs—
Kawasaki, Yamaha, KTM,
Suzuki, Honda, Husqvarna
and Cobra—are offering gener-
ous contingency programs
totaling $147,525 up for grabs
