In terms of championship points, Tomac moved up from sixth to fourth with the win, and Dungey extended his champi- onship lead to 39 points over Ken Roczen, who suffered a bad start in the main, with eight rounds still to run. The question as we move forward through the final half of the season has to be whether or not Tomac can carry this speed and confidence back into more confined quarters for the final eight rounds of the series.
